About the Author
Lee-Anne Flack was born in 1984. She received her LLB degree from Stellenbosch University. She worked in Parliament for the Parliamentary Monitoring group. For many years she volunteered for the Non-profit organisation, Food For Life Global in Cape Town, Johannesburg and India. This experience of working with poverty stricken, mal nourished, abused and illiterate children gave her the inspiration to write the book Constitutional Kids.
Since the book’s publication in 2012, Lee-Anne has given talks and seminars at organisations and events all around South Africa such as SAPS, the Rotary Club, the Women of Purpose Conference, the Gauteng Street Children’s Alliance Conference, the CTII, the University of Johannesburg, WITS, Stellenbosch University, UCT, Summit College, Roedean High School, Methodist Primary and the Festival of Chariots.
Lee-Anne has been interviewed on stations such as Kfm, SAfm, Cape Talk, Highveld radio, 702, 5fm, VOC, Lenzfm, Eastwave radio, Bush radio, Cliff Central and was interviewed on SABC 3. She has also been featured in publications such as Fair Lady magazine, the Argus, the District Mail, the Bolander, the Midrand Reporter, Independent Education, the Nelson Mandela Foundation, Obami, Netwek24 and Kulula.com’s inflight magazine.
Celebrities who have endorsed Constitutional Kids include Derek Watts, Barry Hilton, Mpho MacChambers, Lira, Kieno Kammies and Aubrey Masango.
Lee-Anne completed her Reiki course in South Africa then went on to study chiromancy, sound healing, Ayurvedic massage and dance therapy in India.
She worked and taught for two years in China, Cambodia and Vietnam. She also facilitated a women’s empowerment seminar in Hanoi.
Lee-Anne is the founder of the Prema Shanti Healing Sanctuary and was an ambassador of Food For Life Global. She currently has her own practice, Revathi Healing, in Somerset West where she offers sessions such as Reiki, massage, sound healing and mantra therapy.
