About Constitutional Kids
This book is narrated from the viewpoint of four children who are of different ages and come from different backgrounds, but are the best of friends.
They explain what the Constitution is, how it came about, what our rights are (‘special powers’) and how we can use them. Through practical examples, they also explain the responsibilities which come with our rights.
This book emphasises the uniqueness and beauty of every child. It encourages them to reach their fullest potential by embracing their individuality. It urges them to break free from the norm and become strong leaders who positively impact the lives of others. They are encouraged to be the change they want to see in the world, and discover that they have the power within them to be anything they want to be.
Most importantly, this book aims to comfort children when they are feeling alone, hurt or scared by assuring them that there are people out there who care and want to help them (the numbers of child line, child welfare etc. are given at the back of the book.)
Please feel free to share this book with anyone you like.
